New Herichthys in Brazil

New species of Herichthys, genus Australoheros, family Cichlidae, inhabiting the river rio Jacuí, tributary headwater rio das Antas, dos Patos lagoon water system, south Brazil, was named Australoheros taura.
New species related Australoheros ribeirae, differing in depth of the body and the external form of the vertebrae.
